Alan Greenspan: Former Fed Chair Calls Bubble in Stocks & Bonds

Former chairman of the Federal Reserve as recently told CNBC and Bloomberg that the decade-long bull market in bond prices would be coming to a swift end. Alan Greenspan also went on to say that stocks are also in bubble territory.

Greenspan went on to say:

There are two bubbles: We have a stock market bubble, and we have a bond market bubble,

Greenspan, who led the federal reserve from 1987 until 2006 is pointing the finger at government deficits, yet he disregards the distortion of asset classes thanks to central bankers throughout the world with programs such as quantitative easing and the insanity of negative interest rate policy.
