Noticed this interview that the CEO did a few months ago explaining the merger.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49QMJ6v-4g4

Thought it was a great interview, lots of good takeaways. In terms of catalysts, Nav lays out the plan around the 4 minute mark.

I just wonder if Bonterra begins to slide by OSK on a valuation basis with the:

  • Moroy Deposit
  • Barry Deposit
  • Gladiator Deposit

On top of the mill…

With a consolidated share structure <- (Clean structure) – One might think this will SOON surpass Osisko on a valuation basis considering the type of optionality they have moving forward.

With such a clean share structure, management can defiantly get creative in terms of JVs and fast tracking production…

What are the overall thoughts amongst everyone?

I really think Osisko turns into the monster UNLESS Kirkland takes everyone out...

I think Osisko depsoit is much greater in terms of economical in addition to being much larger. The new zone they discovered is extremely exciting and they have been producing some crazy news release with regards to assays coming back from the core.

This should be a very interesting 2019 for the camp...

I am going to come from the left field and say that price of gold and time will have an impact on the entire urban barry windfall district.  TimminsBoy62 is right OSK is huge.  Its 2.8 million ounces including inferred will only get larger.

Not thinking of who is better or who RE in the spring which will surprise many.  More importantly one, that when combined with OSK resources, would be greater than 5 million ounces.

With the knowledge that everyone is close to accepting we are entering a huge gold bull run.  KL will not be the only interested party.  That means better value reward for the gold in the ground.

If the 2 became a larger pie, then a larger centralized Mill would have to be built to enable the size of the ore feed from these vast properties.  2400 t/d Urban Barry Mill now being upgraded will not be enough for both sides...

That is a great problem to have.  This will be the story of 2019-2020...

KL shares very valuable at the moment.  Could they enable  future source potential consisting of  additional production ounces to KL stable of gold mines?   A deal in the making?

The fact remains on its own OSK needs a mill, and does not want to wait 4-5 years to have one.

So either it joins with BTR ( merger, acquisition,  however one prefers to describe the marriage) or BTR gets absorbed into KL.  Would not make much sense to leave OSK by itself?  And with the 2 possibly as one, atleast 1 or 2 major gold producers would love a > 5 million ounce gold source in a friendly mining jurisdiction of Quebec.

OSK plus BTR would be >400000 ounces gold / year / production rate  to start...

Maybe KL takes BTR first and waits till OSK makes a deal  (realizing cannot wait 4-5 years to go on its own).

    What are your ideas?

    Goldspinner,

I think your correct about Kirkland. I don't think Kirkland Lake will allow for these companies operating within the Urban Barry camp to really ramp things up to a point where they are generating free cash flow via production.

With their investments already in both companies, I am sure the game plane  is to do an all share takeover (which at their valuation makes sense)

I just hope we finally see a resource estimate on BTR soon!

    Cheers

TimminsBoy62 makes sense.  $80 million counting KL and E. Sprott between BTR and OSK at my last count.

My guess for the RE by btr on all 3 properties Gladiator Barry and Moroy was 4-5 months.  Hopefully a bit earlier.

Late may to late june are my latest parameters, could be way off.  Are you going to drive the 5 hours up to toronto for the pdac? if still around timmins?  I think the pdac can be had for $25/day including access to core shack, investors exchange, the writers, and the company presentations.  The BTR booth well worth a visit, unfortunately i will not be there.  Anyone on our board going much appreciated any feedback from the BTR booth at the PDAC.  Thanks.

TimminsBoy62 did you grow up in Timmins?  you must be used to the cold winters if that is the case.

I grew up in north bay.  know how it is.

Vancouver no snow on the ground, unless up in the mountains.
